Activities
The RUSI of NSW holds Luncheon/Lecture meetings monthly, normally on the last Tuesday of the month, in the lecture auditorium on Level 11 of the Defence Plaza, 270 Pitt Street, Sydney.
These normally are open to members and their guests only and statements made during the lecture and discussion must not be reported or attributed without the permission of the
speakers (Chatham House Rules).
A sandwich lunch is available from 12 noon (cost: $8.00) sandwiches must be ordered by 3.00 pm on the Monday prior to the event. The Lecture is from 1.00 pm to 2.00 pm, including 20 minutes for discussion. Multi-speaker seminars on military history and current affairs are held from time to time and periodic visits are arranged to Defence and other establishments of interest.
Each August, members enjoy our formal Foundation Day Dinner, the one last held in
the Macquarie Room of the Royal Automobile Club of Australia. Members' partners or guests are most welcome. Stimulating speakers, congenial company and gourmet dining are assured.
